Shopping at LGH & More

Lucy's Greenhaus Sarah & Jesse

I can get that plant cheaper at the local big box store! Why are your plants overpriced?!

At Lucy's Greenhaus

We grow every plant ourselves. Every plant is unique whether is is from seed, cutting, tuber or even tissue culture.  Every plant is unique in its own way!

We spend money, time, energy and put ultimately our love and passion into this.

When you shop at LGH, you support a small buisness, support our families, establish lasting relationships and ultimately shop at a place where we care and love what we do.

Bigger profiting stores normally receive plants on pallets that usually end up destroyed or dry out to death. They manage wholesale which is ultimately cheaper in the long run and hence why you get plants much cheaper. It all depends on many factors though.

Bigger stores do not focus on the nitty gritty of caring for plants and focus on the bare minimum while maximizing profits.

Definetly all for saving the dying plants there however with every plant in every greenhouse or store isolation for potential pests is always recommend. Even if something is considered pest free.

Mother nature is wild. Mealybugs don't care. Thrips are savages and spider mites slay at killing your leaves.

In the long run, being happy with your plant is the most important part.

It doesn't matter where you get your plants we are happy to care and answer any questions at info@lucysgreenhausllc.com

How frequent are restocks happening at LGH?

Since we are doing just chopping and propping at this time, restocks will vary based on  plant type. Some plants root very fast and others take even months to be fully rooted. We usually do not sell cuttings. If there is a plant that is out of stock and you really want it we may be able to propagate by request. Let's Talk!
